MegaStation Access Controlled Storage & Dispensing System provides secured access to up to 896 individual tools. Items can range in size from 6” to 51” wide x 2” to 20” tall x 24” deep. The Controlled Access System ranges in height from 9’ to 16’ and arrives fully assembled ready for service.

System Access
An operator scans his/her employee badge or enters an ID number and pin number on the MegaStation Controlled Access Storage & Dispensing System's alphanumeric keyboard to access the system. All transactions can be recorded with an optional PC host computer or onboard database.

Parts Retrieval
To retrieve parts, the part number and quantity must be entered. The Controlled Access System will rotate to the item location and one or more doors will open depending upon the parts width. With the use of StepTotes, up to four pieces can be requested from a single storage location.

StepTotes have vertically incremented (stepped) sides. The tote may be pulled forward only far enough to access the designated storage compartment. The MegaStation Controlled Access Storage & Dispensing System controls will open the door(s) only far enough to access the first remaining part unless additional quantities are required.

Parts Return
The part/tool number must be entered or scanned. The Controlled Access System will then index the designated storage location, the doors will open and the tool returned.

To accommodate item size variations, more than one door can be opened at once, and door
opening heights can be controlled up to 8 heights (2.5”, 5”, 7.5”, 10”, 12.5”, 15”, 17.5”, 20”)

Adjustable security divider system enables carrier compartments to be configured for a variety of size options.

When items need to be returned, only vacant compartments are operator-accessible.
