Approved and certified by Factory Mutual and UL, this suppression system provides the highest levels of protection available. The system does not rely on potentially faulty or "less than ideally located" thermostats, photoelectric or smoke sensors to activate.

Helps alleviate EPA concerns because the system requires relatively small amounts of extinguishing agent and poses less risk of occupational exposure than other types of fire extinguishing systems, such as total flooding systems.

System Methodology:

The detection system is a patented tube system secured in proximity of the highest fire risk areas including the electronic controls of the ELF and its motor.

If the electronics or motor overheat, the tubing's structural integrity is compromised and bursts under pressure. Due to the tubing's proximity to the heat source, the heat causes an instant compromise of the tube's wall structure and the fire suppression agent (FM200) is released directly at the source of the heat.

The pressurized extinguishing agent FM200 is delivered instantly through the compromised tube wall and to the spot which was heated...extinguishing the hot spot.

This patented and "almost fool-proof" method of discreetly applying a suppression agent to the immediate area requiring suppression, helps reduce collateral material and equipment damage.

The MegaStar MediaStation Electric Lateral File Series is a series of vertically arranged rotating shelves controlled by an electronic keypad or software. With its more than 2,700 linear filing inches of letter-sized filing space, the MediaStation can store the equivalent of approximately 27 file cabinets in a fraction of the space and improve records management productivity up to 56%.

The MediaStation manifests the principles of Universal Design to minimize physical effort such as twisting, bending and tight grasping, providing easy system operation regardless of the user's body size, posture or mobility. Its ergonomic design and operation are fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and OSHA regulations, as well as the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (UFAS) for forward and side reach, clearance under the work counter, and control accessibility guidelines. For example, the rollout file drawer can be accessed with no more than five pounds of force, and the ADA fixed seating posting board allows easy, natural access to retrieved materials.

The MediaStation is designed to allow 14, 16 and 18 carrier units to be installed under 8', 9' and 10' ceilings respectively to maximize file storage space.
