M-16s have been the standard in the military since the Vietnam War. Storage of M-16s has been confined to small arms weapon racks with a fixed height bar going across the rack to support the barrel. Combat Weapon Storage Systems have changed the way weapons are being stored with adjustable barrel saddles for each individual weapon allowing many different types of weapons to be stored in the same storage system. Combat Weapon Storage Systems can be configured as stand alone units or mounted onto moveable carriages for a high density mobile shelving requirement.
